So you want to Spacefy but you’re not sure where to start. Worry not, let me break it down for you with the 5 W’s of Spacefy.
Who: First off, you can’t Spacefy people as far as our lawyers tell us. That’s an entirely different business and we’re trying to keep the legal sheet clear for our first few years of operation at least. For our purposes, the “who” will be split into two separate groups.
What: Ok. So what can you Spacefy is a question we get a lot. The answer is simple. It could be any space that you feel may be used as a creative space. You can see how the applications are potentially unlimited.
When: That’s up to you. The initial idea behind Spacefy was that we could help people monetize their Space during times where it’s not being fully utilized.
Where: Right now we’re working within the GTA. Toronto has a rich creative industry and as such, we’re looking to maximize our potential and help make it easier for creators in our local industry to get things done in a really new and interesting way. We’ll be expanding out to other major cities in early 2015.
Why: Well… With Spacefy
How: Well that’s the easiest part. Head over to www.spacefy.it and click on the “List Your Space” button. Registration takes 2 mins and setting up your space with pictures and descriptions takes anywhere from 5-15 mins depending on how creative you want to get. We can always help with that though… just let us know. We might even be able to come by and take fresh pictures of your location if you don’t have any current ones.
Also it’s worth mentioning that we’ve extended our early sign up incentive and hosts who sign up before the end of January will not be charged any booking fees for 6 months. Quite literally, you have nothing to lose, and some additional exposure to gain and maybe even some social media love from our constant Twitter, Instagram and Facebook chatter.
