Every day we come across unique, original, modern and sometimes crazy-cool spaces throughout North America. We enjoy browsing through these newly listed spaces that catch our attention and we feel it’s our duty to spread the word about them.
This week the Union Hall in Brooklyn, New York recently listed their space on Spacefy. It quickly made its way on to our ‘Cool Creative Spaces’ list. Plush brown tufted leather and hunter green sofas, positioned in front of a large wood-crafted fireplace surrounded by high mahogany bookcases, are just a few of the details that make up the lavish seating area in the Union Hall.
The 5000 square-foot warehouse was converted into a restaurant/bar/comedy venue and it really gives off a speakeasy vibe. The stone walls, two indoor bocce courts, and outdoor garden seating bring additional character to this Brooklyn space. The cozy interior gives a ‘cool people only’ vibe, which can help in the creation of a high-end photo shoot, film or a theme driven ‘James Bond’ type event. The posh vibe can at times, be shattered by roars of laughter from the comedy room and bar downstairs. Union Hall is known to host many a comedy show in Brooklyn. Just some of the talented comedians featured in nightly shows include 2Dope Queens, Kyler Alyers, Aparna Nancherla, Kerry Coddett, and more.
We definitley agree with the New York Times quote that Union Hall offers a “downtown style mixed with Brooklyn’s trademark down-to-earth friendliness”. This new listing can offer numerous options to event planners, photographers, and film productions. Make sure you check out this week’s ‘Cool Creative Space’, Union Hall on Spacefy.
